The EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule requires all contractors and rental property owners to be certified and follow specific lead safe work practices when they disturb lead paint in housing and child occupied facilities built before 1978.

- Lead Abatement Worker (Initial & Refresher)
- Lead Abatement Supervisor (Initial & Refresher)
- I do renovation/remodel/painting in pre‑1978 buildings → EPA RRP (8 hrs)
- I’ll perform abatement work on site (under a Supervisor) → Worker Initial (24 hrs)
- My Worker certification is expiring → Worker Refresher (8 hrs)
- I will oversee abatement projects → Supervisor Initial (40 hrs)
- My Supervisor certification is expiring → Supervisor Refresher (8 hrs)
